Our needs for this role include the following responsibilities and requirements:
IT Support Specialist Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or similar, and 3-5 years of experience as an IT support specialist. Will consider IT specific training combined with work experience.
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
- Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as FreshDesk, GitHub and Jira.
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Gaming Experience, preferred:
- Casino gaming experience – 5 years+
- Slot attendant or technician experience – 2 years+
Physical Requirements of the Job
- The person in this position needs to be able to traverse distances through large casinos during installations and also be able to remain stationary when guiding training for users.
- Constantly operates electronics, such as computers, printers, phones, etc.
- Constantly positions self to work on the interior and exterior of equipment.
- Has the ability to communicate accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
- Is able to observe and inspect details at close range.
- Has the ability to move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs. for equipment installs.
